Snowbird Hut - ARCHIVAL REPRODUCTION Print

The Snowbird Hut in Hatcher Pass looks out on the iconic peak of the Nunatak surrounded by glaciers bending and carving through the valley. The colors of this particular print were inspired by a fall traverse out to the hut, we hiked as the tundra glowed golden yellow, and red. I’ve also skied out in the winter as the snow smoothes over the ridges of the glacier, and blankets the rocks. Winter or summer, it's a stunning, wild escape.

This is an archival reproduction of an original linocut print. I’ve discontinued printing the original version, but the reproduction beautifully captures all the unique details of an original. This reproduction is made locally in Anchorage AK by Ravenink Printing on luxurious Strathmore Fine Art paper in matte ink to replicate the effect of a handmade print.
