Maybe you were wondering ...
Which inks do you use?
All of my prints are made with archival quality, oil based inks. I prefer Cranfield Caligo Safewash inks for their consistency, opacity and richness.
What is Lokta paper?
Lokta is a handmade paper from Nepal. It's made from the bark of the quick-growing Daphne bush, making it a sustainable choice. The bark is ground into a pulp, and sun-dried on frames. The result is a gorgeous, textured paper with natural deckled edges. This also means that the paper is not perfectly square and prints may not be exactly centered.
How are prints packaged + shipped?
All prints are packaged in a protective sleeve with a backing board. 5x7" through 11x14" prints ship in rigid, 100% recycled EcoEnclose Kraft mailers.
16x20" prints ship rolled up in a sturdy cardboard tube. Unroll your print and give it a few days to relax in its new environment before framing.
My print arrived damaged - what next?
While I do my best to protect your prints, I can't control the wild whims of the USPS. Please reach out to me in the form below, and I'll send you a replacement.
What's your favorite trail snack?
There's nothing better than a handful of Albanese gummy bears to fuel my spirit for adventure.
And how much does your cat weigh?
My cat - Chuli (Chulitna, Chuli Stout) - weighs in at a mere 18 lbs.
