Waves crash onto the beach while sea foam makes intricate patterns on the water's surface. Based off of a photo of Bishop's Beach in Homer, Alaska - this beach is where I would go swimming, tidepooling, skipping class, and years later, where I would get married.
- Velvety black ink with gold sun
- Hand torn Lokta paper approx 16x20: due to the handmade nature of the paper, prints may not be perfectly centered, perfectionists be warned!
- Limited edition run of 50 prints, dated, numbered and signed in pencil
Prints are individually inked and pressed using archival, oil-based inks on beautifully textured Lokta paper. Lokta is a sustainable paper, handmade in Nepal with gorgeous flecks of fiber and texture. Each print is pressed by me with unique variations from print to print, perfectly original. Your print may have slight differences in ink coverage from the one pictured.

Maddie J. The care and quality of Kristin's craft shows through, from communication and packaging, to materials chosen and final print. Like many others, Bishop's Beach holds a special place of fond memories for me, so it's nice to have this unique version of that place in my home, handcrafted by a local artist.
